The new design will definitely take some time getting use, but from what I seen so far is that this looks like a great upgrade. This will probably be my next vehicle but not for some time because my '08 Ford Escape is just fine.

How the heck is taking the European Ford Kuga and slapping the Escape name plate on it "a major leap forward"? Seems more like a major leap sideways. Maybe next year the European Ford Ka will have the Mustang name plate slapped on making another "major leap forward"? =)

Well, the car doesnt look bad... C'mon, people have to understand the Small SUV market is not longer for pure off road, it is moving to the city/all road/all weather driving. Most people are looking for stylish and practical, yet safety and durable vehicle for weekends and daily driving. I have to accept it, I do liked the old Escape because the trucky appearence, but I have to go with the flow, majority wins...It's either that, or find a way to create my own brand of SUVs and built them LOL!
